I’m working on a “Old Masters” copy .. yep, I’m copying another painting. I am actually working on 2 different copied paintings it’s been fun. This one was by John Singer Sargent , copy of his painting is to the right and my copy is on the left. I picked it because I was attracted to the Painterly way the water is done and I wanted to give it a try myself. Now once again I’m not at this point sure if it is finished but it has parts I’m pretty happy with and overall it’s been a nice lesson.
added update….. keeping with the water theme here’s a on-line class project painting I did to get familiar with my new Water mixable oils.
