The Met
Per Jennifer our tour guide it has taken the brothers 10 years of research to develop this new tour that has only been available this year entitled:
“He causes to Become”
Our tour guide Liz was a doll! She’s a pioneer from the area. She had an iPad with her with illustrations from many of our publications to illustrate this tour ( the Met artwork and items have been used to authenticate publication depictions, like the basket that could have been used to hold Baby Moses). Of course it starts with Adam and artwork depicting creation then each item we seen after that directed us through the ages down to the painting of Washington crossing the Delaware River and his diverse crew ( even a women). All through there is woven the proof that Jehovah has directed people, nations & governments to his purpose, causing it to become! So many points to remember!
It was really interesting seeing the Met with a focus on a specific topic , it really made me analyze it.
Then…… our guide had other plans for is too……
First we went to the 9/11 memorial…. it was sad but pretty incredible. What really made the visit is that Jennifer was just a few blocks away and related her story to us as first hand experience. Wow…. I’m glad we could go. And yes I have pictures.
Then…… we bused to China town and little Italy and we all walked around to wherever we wanted to go. Steve & I had a really nice Italian dinner and then the Cannoli came back to the Motel with us.
Then…….we went to experience Times Square…wow …. it was dusk and it was ablaze with lights…wow.
But the best was last….. we stopped to view the Manhattan Skyline.
Again…. Wow… that’s day 1
